Partners kicked the project off to a running start

March 6, 2008

A total of 30 people joined forces in Helsinki to kick off the CHANGING BEHAVIOUR project.  The kickoff meeting, with 13 partners from eight countries, as organized on February 5th.  A presentation by ECN gave us ideas about why behavioural routines are difficult to change, and why early DSM programmes faltered. We learned about interesting programmes all over Europe that are trying to reduce energy consumption and promote a low-carbon future.  Of course, we also planned our work for the first year, including a series of workshops to be hosted. Mr Grisel, EC Project Officer from DG Research, said he was very pleased with running start of the project, and has high expectations for it.
